Job Description:

To support this vision, we've established the Chief Data Office (CDO) Organization to lead our enterprise data strategy, including data and platform governance associated with AI. Collaborating with Global Experience Owners (GXOs), Regional Champions, CIOs, Functional Business and Digital Technology Leaders, and Global Business Services teams, we aim to build robust data quality practices, effective operating models, and advanced technology capabilities. The CDO organization will accelerate Mars Snacking's next generation of data-led AI innovation.
Enterprise Data & AI Literacy & Change Enablement Lead
As a key member of the Chief Data Office Organization, you will play a crucial role in our enterprise data and AI transformation program. Your mission is to elevate the data experience for our associates globally, driving us towards a data-fluent organization.
What are we looking for?
1. 7+ years of experience in change management, preferably within a data and analytics or technology-driven environment.
2. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Change Management, Organizational Development, related field or equivalent work experience.
3. Strong understanding of data governance, data architecture, data quality, and related change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
7. Project management experience is a plus.
8. Experience in HR technology is a plus.
9. Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is preferred.
What will be your responsibilities?
Strategic Leadership:
1. Define and implement the enterprise data and AI literacy and change enablement strategy for Mars Snacking.
2. Develop and execute short-term, medium-term, and long-term plans for the data literacy program, guided by the CDO leadership team.
3. Collaborate with key stakeholders and technology enablement working groups to enhance best practices for data and AI literacy, improving the data experience and driving effective data tools adoption.
Data Quality and Governance Cultural Improvement:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to improve data culture and quality, promoting data literacy and empowering associates to use data effectively.
2. Identify potential risks and resistance to data management discipline and create strategies to address data quality and governance issues.
Stakeholder Engagement:
1. Engage with the CDO leadership team and key stakeholders to understand their requirements and concerns regarding data initiatives.
2. Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure their support and participation in change efforts.
Communication:
1. Develop and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed about changes and data initiatives.
2. Craft clear and compelling messages to convey the benefits and impact of changes.
3. Raise awareness and facilitate the adoption of data governance initiatives, programs, and training through newsletters, communities of practice, roadshows, and presentations.
Training and Support:
1. Design and deliver training programs to ensure associates have the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to changes, focusing on data literacy, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
2. Provide ongoing support and resources to employees during the transition period, coordinating training programs on data and tool usage with HR, training, and communications teams.
Data Technology Adoption and Impact Assessment:
1. Conduct data technology adoption and change impact assessments to identify the effects on data governance and quality discipline across all impacted groups within the organization.
