Role details:
* 6+ Month contract
* Up to £675 p/d
* 5 Hours p/w
* Mostly remote with 2 days per month client site visit
* Role subject to security clearance checks, discussed upon application.
The Energy Division at ARM are currently recruiting an experienced Human Factors Engineer, to join a well-established design & infrastructure consultancy, that work on managing some of the UK’s biggest Energy & Defence projects, as well as global.
What do you need to succeed?
* Proven experience in applying HF within an engineering context
* Experience supporting nuclear safety case development and a good understanding of the nuclear safety case process.
* Strong knowledge in human reliability assessment
Additional required skills include:
* Human error identification
* Qualitative/quantitative error analysis.
* Substantiation of operator safety claims.
* Experience supporting nuclear safety case development/review (ideally 3+ years) with a good understanding of the nuclear safety case process.
* Ability to deliver HF assessment with minimal supervision.
* Able to work as part of a HF and safety case delivery team.
Qualifications:
* Relevant qualification in Human Factors, ideally a related degree.
* Chartered membership of CIEHF is desirable.
