Garment Tech Admin Assistant Based: Trafford Park, Manchester Suitable for Graduate/ entry level Part time applicants welcome South Beach/Continental Textiles have a new opportunity for a Garment Tech Admin Assistant to join our team. As a Garment tech Admin Assistant, you will be working closely with the Garment Tech team to ensure products meet with our customer requirements, for fit and quality, covering multi product, including Swimwear, Nightwear, Active wear, Menswear & Accessories. Alongside this, you will also have opportunity to work closely with other departments including Design, Buying, Marketing and Shipping. The Role: - Working closely with our Technical Team to provide support with data entry and general administrative duties - Daily communication with our factories in the Far East - Trained in measuring samples in preparation for fitting, from 1 st Fit, through to Production samples - Attend fit sessions, taking accurate notes and uploading images into the workbook to aid the garment tech team - Creating and regularly maintaining Critical Paths - Following the Critical Path, chasing and logging samples and packages from the suppliers - Assist in the approval of labelling - Carry out duties in other departments as required - Assisting in the analysis of returns information - Maintaining an organised environment, ensuring items are stored in the correct area - Assist in communicating test report requirements and approving test reports to ensure quality standards are met - Additional duties including answering incoming calls, data entry and sample room management Skills Required: - Able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy, to be detail-orientated - Ideally hold a degree in a similar field or relative experience - Able to prioritise tasks and effectively manage your own time - Have knowledge of Microsoft packages – must be proficient In Excel - Enthusiasm to learn and develop - Pattern cutting / garment construction basic knowledge - Knowledge of fabric /garment testing is advantageous We are looking for candidates who are aligned with our company values and will contribute to the culture of the organisation Kind, Committed, Passionate, Creative, Dynamic, Inclusive & Trustworthy Benefits: Hybrid office/ WFH Flexible working hours, 4pm early Friday finish Christmas shut down Regular performance reviews Wellbeing support Free onsite parking Discount on product Sample sales Fun working environment Bupa rewards membership If you think you’ve got what it takes, please email a quick cover letter along with your CV.
