They are currently seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their team.
The Role:
A Private Client Specialist with 5-6 years PQE to join their well-established team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner who wishes to progress their career further and grow within the firm.
Their Wills Trusts and Probate Team has seen significant growth and quality in instructions due to the firm’s commitment to exceptional standards in Client Care. They now have an opening for an excellent fee earner who is as passionate as they are about protecting their clients’ interests.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Department and other team members, delivering high-quality services in all work types within the Private Client Department. Candidates will be expected to have substantive experience in Will writing, Probate, Administration of Estates, and Trusts. Prior experience managing complex high net worth estates would be an advantage.
Core Duties:
1. Providing detailed inheritance tax and estate planning advice for Wills and Trusts
2. Advising on the application of agricultural and business property reliefs where necessary
3. Advising on various tax reliefs applicable to trusts and estates
4. Drafting various types of Trust provisions for testamentary and Inter vivos trusts
5. Taking instructions for complex Wills and drafting provisions to reflect clients’ objectives
6. Dealing with the administration of estates and trusts, preparing returns to HMRC for probate
7. Taking instructions, drafting LPAs, and dealing with the registration of same
8. Contributing to marketing our services and the firm’s corporate objectives
Qualifications:
The candidate must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least 5 to 6 years PQE and a proven track record of extensive and relevant experience. STEP qualified or STEP accredited is an advantage.

2. Excellent client care skills and a team player in a professionally diverse team
3. Computer literate with experience of case management systems and Microsoft Office
4. Ability to work autonomously, producing high-quality work with minimum supervision
5. Excellent time management and strong prioritization skills
6. Efficient fee earner, able to manage own caseload with minimum supervision
7. Good business development skills and comfortable with networking
8. Efficient time recording and file management skills
Requirements:
At least 5-6 years PQE. The candidate must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 5 to 6 years PQE and a proven track record of extensive and relevant experience. STEP qualified or STEP accredited is an advantage.
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 9.00 am – 5.30 pm Monday to Friday with Hybrid working
