Job Role: BID Writer Location: South Yorkshire/Derbyshire/Hybrid Slaary: £50,000/£60,000 Package (DOE) Our client a leading TIER 1 Contractor who is keen to appoint an experienced BID Writer on a permanent basis. Duties: Identifying opportunities for bid submissions and raising them with the bid management team. Analysing the tender document to understand the needs of the client Conducting research and brainstorming key points to include in the bid. Crafting persuasive and detailed proposals. Performing risk assessments and addressing concerns of clients and company staff. Writing content for live tenders. Creating bid collateral such as CV’s, Project Reference Sheets and Capability Profiles Ensuring all deadlines are met. Liaising with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors. Planning bid preparation to ensure that deadlines are met. Liaising with other managers to agree bid details. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Creative and innovative thinking Problem-solving skills Relationship-building and influencing skills An interest in the construction sector, coupled with a willingness to keep up to date with industry trends, regulations and legislation.
