Clinical Data Scientist – Analytics | Manchester, Greater Manchester (Hybrid/4 Remote)

They are now looking for a Clinical Data Scientist to join their growing team and contribute to their mission of improving patient outcomes through high-quality data analysis. The Role:
As a Clinical Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in managing, analysing, and transforming clinical trial and real-world healthcare data. Working within the Technical Team, you will support the development of validated data solutions and ensure high data integrity in clinical research.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain SDTM/CDISC compliant datasets.
* Conduct data transformation, validation, and quality control for clinical study data.
* Work with clinical coded data (SNOMED CT, MedDRA, WHO-DD) and electronic medical records (EMR) for real-world evidence generation.
* Provide expertise in terminology management and data mapping across various terminology schemas.
* Support data analytics, management, and quality initiatives.
* Collaborate with software engineers and data teams to integrate data pipelines into platforms.
* Ensure compliance with GCP, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
* Explore applications of AI and ML within clinical data solutions.
* Provide statistical and data analytics expertise to internal teams and external partners.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Strong academic background in Data Science, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
* Hands-on experience in clinical data science, biostatistics, or statistical programming.
* Experience in clinical trial dataset generation and understanding of regulatory guidelines.
* Proficiency in R, STATA, or SAS for data analysis and statistical modelling.
* Knowledge of clinical coding (SNOMED CT, ICD, MedDRA, WHO-DD).
* Familiarity with real-world data (RWD) and EMR/EHR integration.
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent collaboration skills and experience working in cross-functional technical teams.
