Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights? Do you have a talent for predictive analytics and improving performance? North Yorkshire Police is looking for a Customer Contact Performance Analyst to help us measure and enhance our customer contact operations, ensuring we meet national standards and deliver the best service to the public.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and design interactive reports, dashboards, and data products to deliver key management information.
* Use advanced data analysis to support business needs and provide predictive insights that improve customer contact performance.
* Lead audits, research, and analysis of data related to Airwave, Contact Handling, and Incident Logs.
* Innovate and improve our analytics capabilities, seeking opportunities to enhance data-driven decisions.
* Present complex data in simple, actionable insights at organisational performance meetings.
* Act as a subject matter expert on Customer Contact data, including data used in legal proceedings.
* Collaborate with ICT services and external organisations to maintain up-to-date best practices and data technologies.
What We’re Looking For:
* Highly data literate, with experience in multi-source data analysis and proficiency in tools like SQL, Python, or similar programming languages.
* Strong communication skills to convey complex data concepts simply and effectively to stakeholders.
* A self-motivated, curious individual with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
* Ideally, a degree in a related field (analytics, data science) or equivalent experience, with a willingness to complete a Level 4 Data Analytics qualification.
