We're working with an innovative telecom start-up in Surrey, actively seeking a talented Senior PA Engineer for their dynamic team. Your role covers the entire development lifecycle, from concept to production. We seek candidates with flexibility, teamwork, and autonomy in dynamic environments.
Responsibilities as the Senior PA Engineer:
1. Design and develop power amplifiers for 4G/5G radio products, emphasizing linearity, efficiency, and thermal performance.
2. Conduct simulations for PA design stability.
3. Participate in the full life cycle of radio product development.
4. Conduct feasibility studies and RF simulations for system optimization.
5. Coordinate design reviews to meet requirements.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of PA front end design.
7. Test and validate power amplifiers, addressing development issues.
8. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for front-end design.
9. Work closely with manufacturing teams to transition PA designs into production.
10. Stay updated on industry trends in 5G and RF power amplifiers.
11. Develop/maintain supplier relationships.
Requirements for the Senior PA Engineer:
12. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related fields.
13. Proven industrial experience in RF power amplifier design, focusing on 4G/5G technologies.
14. In-depth knowledge of RF and microwave circuit design, including PA architectures and topologies.
15. Familiarity with simulation tools (, ADS, AWR) for RF power amplifiers and LNA.
16. Experience with GaN and GaAs technologies.
17. Experience with Doherty amplifier design, DPD, CFR, and radio systems architectures.
18. Experience with PCB layout and design considerations for RF power amplifiers.
19. Experience with testing and characterization of RF power amplifiers.
20. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
