About the role
Join our fast-paced and people-focused Finance team, a core function that co-pilots the business to deliver outstanding value for customers, colleagues, and shareholders. Our team plays a central role in everything we do at Tesco, while nurturing talent and crafting pathways for growth – and, most importantly, we know how to have fun along the way!
We are actively recruiting for our Business Partnering and FP&A teams and would love to talk to you about how these roles can fit your career aspirations. In Business Partnering roles, you\'ll provide insights, challenge decisions, and offer strategic support to key areas such as Product, Customer, and Channels. Your financial and commercial expertise will help shape the business, drive value opportunities, and influence decisions.
As a Lead FP&A Manager, you’ll work across key areas such as Customer, Property, Technology, Procurement, Telecoms, and Trade Analysis, ensuring accurate performance reporting, co-ordinating our management accounts and leading on strategic planning and budgeting.
What it\'s like to work in our Finance team:
* Sociable: Whether it’s netball or football tournaments, team days, Ready Steady Cook competitions, or running and book clubs, there’s something for everyone!
* People & development-focused: Our leadership team is committed to your growth, with regular conversations to help you learn, develop, and progress in your role.
* Driven, collaborative & ambitious: Our finance team continually challenges each other to improve, with ample opportunities for progression no matter how long you\'ve been at Tesco.
* Supportive: Upon joining, you’ll have a buddy and mentor, ensuring you are supported both professionally and personally.
At Tesco, we believe in the power of spending more time together, face to face, than apart. So, during your working week, you can expect to spend 60% of your time in one of our office locations or local sites and the rest remotely. We also recognise that life looks a little different for each of us. Some people are at the start of their careers, some want the freedom to do the things they love. Others are going through life-changing moments like becoming a carer, nearing retirement, adapting to parenthood, or something else.
