Vickerstock are working in partnership with a civil and structural engineering firm on the appointment of a Health & Safety Coordinator.
As a Health & Safety Coordinator, you will prepare documentation as part of the Principal Designer duties in accordance with the CDM Regulations, reviewing Health & Safety information from Designers and Contractors with occasional site Health & Safety inspections.

In your new role:
11. Assist in the delivery of the Principal Designer role in accordance with the CDM Regulations
12. Liaise with Design Team Members, Contractors, Clients
13. Provide CDM and H&S advice to project team members
14. Prepare Pre-Construction Information and H&S Files
15. Review Contractors' Construction Phase Plans
16. Represent the company at Design Team / Client meetings
17. Complete site H&S inspections
What you will need to succeed:
18. Relevant experience in a similar role
19. NEBOSH General or Construction certification
20. Awareness of Health & Safety / CDM legislation
21. Knowledge and experience of CDM regulations
22. Excellent oral and written communication skills
23. IT and numeracy skills (MS Office)
24. Full clean driving license and access to transport
Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):
25. Membership of accredited industry body (IOSH)
26. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
27. Civil or Structural Engineering background
