Our highly regarded Steps to Wellbeing services are recruiting for a New Role in our recently piloted Flourish service - part of the new Complex Trauma Pathway. We are looking for people who bring energy, enthusiasm, and a high level of skills and experience. We are recruiting to West and Mid Dorset, Purbeck and East Dorset, North Dorset (Sherborne), and Weymouth and Portland localities. Several roles are available, and the flexibility to work part-time and across areas is available. The Flourish concept is a shining example of a new, innovative service that compliments the complex trauma pathway across Dorset. Flourish is a PTSD/Trauma pathway for patients who require more complex psychological interventions than previously available. Patients on the Flourish Pilot reported their treatment has changed their lives and in some instances cited it had saved their life. 100% of patients in the pilot agreed they were able to manage their emotions and look forward to a more positive future. We welcome informal enquiries, visits are also welcomed, please contact Denise Mein denise.meinnhs.net Main duties of the job You will provide one to one high intensity CBT or EMDR, alongside stabilisation and collaboration with Peer Specialists to provide the Flourish care model for adults with symptoms of PTSD and C-PTSD. Good administrative, time management and communication skills are also essential. Experience of working within the NHS or similar organisation is highly desirable.
