Description
As Regulatory Reporting Senior Manager, you will join our growing Finance team and collaborate with our Regulatory Reporting Manager and the Management Accounting team to prepare and submit accurate regulatory returns to the FCA. This role is pivotal in ensuring that compliance with UK regulatory prudential reporting requirements is adhered to, alongside international regulatory prudential reporting obligations, and will support us through an exciting phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Working alongside the Group Financial Controller in delivering UK regulatory prudential reports in an accurate and timely manner, including oversight of capital adequacy, liquidity requirements and obligations, both in the UK and internationally, and preparing and submitting regulatory returns aligned with FCA guidelines and deadlines.
2. Collaborating with the Head of FP&A to ensure accurate forecasting of capital and liquidity adequacy and providing data analysis to support regulatory compliance projections.
3. Developing ICARA documentation, including liaising with Senior stakeholders, as required, to support the development of current processes.
4. Supporting our international offices by preparing international regulatory reports and ensuring alignment with local regulatory authorities.
5. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for regulatory reporting and ensuring this is accessible for audits and enquiries.
6. Co-operating with the regulator to meet any information requests or make any notifications, including new acquisition impacts, applications for issuing capital instruments, or any other prudential notifications.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
1. Educated to degree level in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2. Advanced degree and/or professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA (desirable).
3. Proven experience within FCA regulatory reporting within the Financial Services sector. The knowledge of the MIFIDPRU regulatory regime is advantageous.
4. Strong working knowledge of UK prudential regulations, reporting standards, and FCA guidelines.
5. Proficient in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
6. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work towards deadlines.
