Overview
As a Brand & Media Practice Area Team Member, you will be a key contributor to the development and expansion of NielsenIQs Strategic Analytics & Insights (SA&I) business and the brand tracking/building area, specifically.
Reporting to the Practice Area Leader, you will contribute to delivering exceptional client outcomes, achieving short- and long-term revenue goals and building awareness of our solutions in the market. You will act as a subject matter expert within our Brand Tracking business, collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization.
Key Accountabilities
Your role is central to ensuring the Brand and Media practice area achieves its revenue and operational goals. You will work closely with the regional leader and cross-functional teams to:
1. Deliver Profitable Revenue Growth: Identify and activate opportunities for Brand Tracking expansion.
2. Enhance Client Relationships: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, addressing their needs through our Brand Tracking solutions.
3. Promote Product Awareness: Ensure internal and external stakeholders understand and value our brand and media capabilities.
4. Foster Team Collaboration: Share knowledge and best practices within the team and across other practice areas.
Core Responsibilities
1. Supporting Revenue Growth
* Actively contribute to achieving team and regional revenue goals by identifying growth opportunities in existing accounts and potential new clients.
* Collaborate with Sales teams to design and execute client engagement strategies, including presentations, pitches, and proposals.
* Assist in the development and localization of sales materials such as commercial decks, proposal templates, and demo scripts.
* Collaborate with sales teams and with the delivery team to lead on client pitches and proposals for renewals and new business.
* Work alongside the delivery team to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction, ultimately driving repeat business.
2. Enhancing Client Engagement
* Participate in client discovery sessions to understand their business challenges and align our solutions effectively.
* Serve as a key resource during proposal development, ensuring client needs are accurately represented and addressed.
* Provide insights based on client interactions to help shape product development and refinement efforts.
* Help manage responses to RFIs/RFPs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality proposals that stand out in the market.
3. Supporting Product Positioning
* Clearly articulate the value of our products, focusing on how they address client-specific challenges and KPIs.
* Assist in creating and sharing client success stories and case studies to demonstrate our solutions impact.
* Continuously refine your understanding of our portfolio, staying informed about new features, capabilities, and use cases.
* Contribute to internal and external training sessions to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on product value propositions.
4. Building Internal Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing
* Actively participate in regional and global Subject Matter Expert communities to share best practices, learn from peers, and stay aligned with organizational goals.
* Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by sharing insights, identifying process gaps, and proposing solutions.
* Help organize and participate in team routines, including bootcamps, workshops, and training sessions, to build team capabilities and engagement.
* Explore innovative use cases for our solutions, working closely with the Practice Area Leader to unlock new revenue streams.

* Efficiency: Help reduce the sales cycle time and improve conversion rates.
* Knowledge Sharing: Actively participate in internal initiatives, sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration.
* Awareness Building: Assist in increasing product visibility through presentations, events, and sales materials.
Ideal candidate
The ideal Practice Area Expert thrives in a dynamic commercial environment and has a proven ability to build meaningful client relationships. They possess a strategic mindset, operational rigor, and the ability to balance short-term goals with long-term growth strategies.
* Previous experience in consulting, analytics, or consumer research roles in Brand tracking programs.
* Strong knowledge of brand and media evaluation and effectiveness, with expertise in applying solutions to real-world challenges. In-depth experience leading global brand studies with a clear understanding and point of view of how brands grow is critical in order to support & drive new business.
* Business development skills, including understanding/translating client needs.
* Thought leadership – evidence of clear media landscape experience and a POV to support/generate thought leadership and content creation. Experience presenting at events or via webinars is preferred but not mandatory.
* Familiarity with sales processes and tools; experience in proposal development is critical.
* Bachelor’s degree required; a Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
