An opportunity has arisen to provide the Chief Pharmacist and Associate Director for Medicines Management and the Deputy Chief Pharmacist with efficient, effective administrative, secretarial, and organisational support.
This role is part time, 30 hours.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for a proactive, highly competent, and resilient individual to work within our dynamic team to ensure effective administrative, secretarial, and organisational support to the pharmacy leadership team.
The successful candidate will have good knowledge of the NHS, excellent administrative and organisational skills including minute taking, diary management, advanced IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and ideally SharePoint; attention to detail; the ability to work on your own initiative, independently and as a team player.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Good level of education including GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths or equivalent
* NVQ level 3 or equivalent in relevant discipline
* ECDL
* Other Business or administrative qualifications
Knowledge and Expertise
* Experience using the full range of secretarial procedures, software programmes including email, internet, and Microsoft Office software packages – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
* Good organisational and planning skills, with the ability to effectively time manage
* Analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret information.
* Effective minute taking skills
Experience
* Significant experience of working at a similar level
* Experience of supporting a Senior Management Team / Executive Directors
* Experience of communicating with Senior Management
* Experience of working in the NHS or public sector
