FTH Hire Group is one of the largest and fastest growing independent plant and tool hire companies in the UK, with nineteen depots across the South of England, Scotland and Wales. As a result of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking to add additional high calibre people to our growing business.
Role
To assist in the day-to-day duties of the Rehire Department, working closely with our Depots and our X-Hire suppliers to ensure that we are able to get the best deal for our customers and have their equipment delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
1. Be one of the first points of contact for all of our depots for sourcing and pricing equipment from our X-Hire network.
2. Manage the quoting pipeline and play a proactive role in ensuring our negotiations and pricing offer the best deals to our customers.
3. Source new suppliers for the network.
4. Manage all X-Hire unconfirmed off hires and liaise with the depots and suppliers to ensure charges are passed on where applicable.
5. Manage any supplier invoice queries.

1. Confident, outgoing personality.
2. Excellent organisational, prioritisation, and communication skills.
3. Able to demonstrate a high level of dedication and self-motivation to the position and to the company and be proactive in their approach.
Desirable Skills
1. Previous industry experience is desired but not essential.
2. Knowledge of Cross Hire process.
3. Proven experience negotiating with suppliers.
Work Week – Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5pm.
