We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead and shape our brand-new trauma-informed therapeutic children's service at Ivetsey House in Stafford. Designed to feel like a true family home, this unique service will provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young people, where they can flourish and feel truly valued. With space for just 3 to 4 children, Ivetsey House will focus on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, offering personalised care that mirrors the routines and relationships of a family home. From supporting with homework to sharing everyday moments like mealtimes and activities, this service is built on fostering trust, connection, and emotional well-being. What you'll be working: This role is full-time, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with additional on-call responsibilities. What you'll be doing: As the Registered Manager, you will: Lead the development and delivery of this new service, ensuring it meets Ofsted regulations and delivers exceptional care. Implement trauma-informed approaches to care, such as PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, and Empathy), to support the children's emotional and behavioural development. Oversee the assessment and formulation of treatment plans tailored to each child's needs. Build and manage a compassionate and skilled team, fostering a positive and supportive culture. What you'll have: A Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare. Experience working in a trauma-informed care setting, whether clinical or non-clinical. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and best practices for children's residential care. Be passionate about providing child-focused care and creating a nurturing environment. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
