An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full position for a Deputy Ward Leader to join our Acute Medical Unit team. It is an ever changing unit that is both busy and rewarding.
This position will enable the successful applicant personal and professional development whilst enabling our team to continue to provide and promote high quality care for our acute medical patients.
Our nursing team work closely alongside the medical and multidisciplinary teams to provide excellent urgent and emergency medical care across the emergency floor, enabling the provision of rapid assessment for those patients presenting with medical conditions who require admission to hospital.
We are looking for a senior nurse who can lead, motivate and enthuse the team to deliver high quality care in what can be a very busy environment.
It is essential that the post holder has significant nursing experience. Have a good understanding of the dynamics of team work as they will be expected to work closely with multidisciplinary personnel across both areas of the Unit. The post holder must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills, leadership, enthusiasm and the ability to learn and develop new skills.
The post holder will be required to cover seven days a week to include day and night shifts, therefore applicants will need to be flexible with shift patterns.
