The Role:
My mainstream client based a short commute from Gloucester is actively seeking a Teacher of Art to join their thriving art department from June 2025 on a full-time maternity cover basis. You will need to have excellent communication and organisation skills in order to plan and mark engaging art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. To be successful in this post you will need an unrivalled passion for your subject and a genuine desire to express this to your students. You will be responsible for guiding students across a range of academic abilities in developing their creativity and passion for art. The ability to teach an additional design subject would be beneficial but is not essential.
The School:
You will be joining a department of knowledgeable and experienced art specialists who are always excited to welcome passionate and personable additions to their team. The school prides itself on the professional development opportunities it offers and as such, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced art teachers interested in exploring a new environment, as well as a chance for ECTs to take full advantage of the department’s existing experience. The successful Art Teacher can expect a salary of £31,650 - £49,084 depending on experience. If you would be interested in discussing the role, please submit an up-to-date copy of your CV or call 0117 336 2606.
