An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Business Partner to join the Turbines Systems Manufacturing Business Unit (MBU) within the Civil Aerospace Manufacturing Operations Finance team in Derby/Rotherham as presence at both locations will be required.
Within Civil Aerospace, the Manufacturing Operations business is responsible for the manufacture and supply of gas turbine sub-systems and components throughout the product lifecycle. It is an exciting time in the Turbines Systems MBU as we have significant growth and new product introduction to deliver in the coming years.
The Manufacturing Finance team are dedicated to supporting Rolls-Royce’s domestic manufacturing facilities all over the world and this role will support across the Turbines Systems MBU, being the main point of contact for its Joint Venture and subsidiary teams and provide business partnering support to one of our Core & Cast Facilities across the Derby / Rotherham campus.

What you will be doing:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will hold a key financial position within the MBU finance team driving the business to achieve strong financial performance in the short and medium term. Key responsibilities include:
* Being the main point of contact for the MBU Joint Venture & subsidiary finance teams, to drive performance and coaching, ensuring integration of finance processes, standardisation & strong & aligned financial governance.
* Providing Finance Business Partner support to one of our Core & Cast Facilities across the Derby & Rotherham campus, driving business performance, providing insight and challenge to the wider facility team & coaching members of the organisation to improve financial acumen and promote a cost-conscious culture.
* Work in conjunction with the MBU Analyst to ensure high levels of financial governance and providing decision-useful management information to MBU Leadership teams.
* Supporting the Turbines Systems business with financial appraisals of ad-hoc business cases as appropriate.
* Drive and support improvements across the MBU finance team.
Who we are looking for:
* Professionally qualified accountant, experienced at operating at a management level, ideally with a level of manufacturing experience.
* Able to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and teams.
* Able to analyse and interpret complex financial information providing insight through simple and effective presentation of management information. Comfortable with dealing with ambiguity.
* Strong communicator, comfortable challenging the status quo, credible with senior business stakeholders.
