What skills and experience we're looking for
Queen Elizabeth’s Academy has an exciting opportunity for an Isolation Hub Lead to join our friendly team.
As the Isolation Hub Lead, you will be a key member of the pastoral team with responsibility for the daily management of the main school isolation room for the removal of students from classrooms. You will be able to maintain high standards of discipline and behaviour for students whose conduct prevents them from accessing the curriculum. You will manage the room, ensuring that there is a programme designed to enable students to reflect on their behaviours and giving them the skills to make positive change.
The successful candidate will be a member of the extended senior leadership team, contributing to the wider strategic running of the academy to ensure outstanding behaviour, wellbeing, progress and attainment and support in promoting the academy within the local community. The postholder will also perform Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead duties as part of their role. Fully duties/responsibilities can be found in the attached job description.
This is a full-time position and would be suited to candidates with previous experience of raising standards.
