Maintenance Engineer (Entry Level)
Salary: £35k - £40K (DOE) + Overtime (realistic OTE £44k)
Location: Wellingborough
Shift pattern: 3 on 3 off Days Only
Holidays: 20 shift holidays

ATA Recruitment have an opportunity available for a motivated maintenance engineer who is looking to advance their career in engineering. My client is based in Wellingborough in the West Midlands and has been operating for over 3 years in their newly built facility. They are a process and supplier of reusable goods and are a market leader in the industry, working at high volume packaging products to support the hospitality and retail industry across the UK.
The company is looking for an enthusiastic maintenance engineer who is eager to use their technical expertise to maintain production at one of their brand-new sites. This role is also a perfect opportunity for someone to develop their skillset and go on to become a true leader in the industry, with training in various departments and the opportunity to travel abroad for training.
The Role:
As the maintenance engineer, you will be required to:
1. Plan and carry out repair work using diagrams, drawings, and repair manuals.
2. Carry out both mechanical and electrical faults and breakdowns, mainly electrical on automated FMCG lines.
3. Compile and report plant engineering performance.
4. Implement and complete the plant PPM system.
5. Respond to equipment and facilities breakdowns.
6. Support engineering corrective actions in response to quality issues.
7. Fault find with a multimeter.
8. Interpret schematic drawings.
The Person:
To be successful in your application for the Maintenance Engineer:
1. Level 2 or 3 in Electrical or Mechanical engineering qualifications (minimum required).
2. Motivated individual looking to develop.
3. Experience in FMCG/automated systems (desirable).
