Elvet Recruitment is partnering with a regional subcontractor specializing in housing and infrastructure. They are currently seeking an Assistant Plant/Hire Manager to join their team in the Teesside area.

What You'll Be Doing:
1. Liase with site managers and suppliers ordering plant and small tools
2. Weekly plant sheet management and live hires from suppliers, cross checking to ensure that the equipment on site is still required and matches up to the items on hire
3. Managing PPE orders from site and liaising with PPE supplier, keeping a record of items distributed
4. Ordering fuel for sites
5. Taking and logging breakdowns from site
6. Dealing with phone calls and emails in a timely manner
What We're Looking For:
1. Previous experience in working in Plant Hire/Small tool desirable
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills between clients and contractors
3. Understanding of company O Licenses
4. IT Literate
5. Full UK Driving License
Role Information:
Salary £25,000 - £28,000
