Finance Manager – St. Austell - £45,000 - £50,000
Trial Balance Consulting are delighted to have been engaged by a new client, a specialist manufacturing company who are genuine experts in their field. The business currently seeks to recruit an experienced Finance Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.
This will be a broad and interesting opportunity where the successful candidate will work closely with directors, based in the UK and internationally, to take a lead role in managing the financial health of the business. Key aspects of the role to include:
- Supervise and develop a small team of transactional support staff
- Production of management accounts with commentary for SMT
- Oversee bank reconciliations
- Variance and business performance analysis
- Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts (with company director’s)
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- VAT reporting
- Oversee bank reconciliations
- Some HR responsibilities as required (such as new staff on-boarding)
For this role we seek an experienced and technically and commercially astute Finance Manager. Whilst the successful candidate will ideally be professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), candidates who consider themselves as qualified by experience will also be considered. Previous manufacturing experience would be highly advantageous, but is not essential. Our client places more importance on person fit; this is a workplace that encourages a strong team environment where everyone works hard, but enjoys themselves whilst doing so. This will be a hands-on position that plays a vital role in the company’s success.
