This is a flexible, home-based role, with attendance required at pre-arranged Governors’ meetings.This is a part-time, permanent role, working term time only, approximately 4 hours per week.What You’ll Do:✔ Organise and facilitate meetings – prepare agendas, distribute papers, take accurate minutes, and follow up on action points.✔ Advise on governance matters – provide guidance on legal duties, policies, and best practices.✔ Maintain essential records – manage governance documents, membership details, and compliance registers.✔ Support board development – assist with governor training, recruitment, and succession planning.✔ Ensure compliance – oversee key governance responsibilities, such as safeguarding checks and policy reviews.What We’re Looking For:✅ Strong administrative and organisational skills✅ Knowledge of governance regulations and procedures (or a willingness to learn)✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills✅ Ability to work independently while maintaining professional relationships✅ Discretion and integrity in handling confidential informationWhy Join Us?
