Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive school environment? A fantastic primary school in Langley Green, Birmingham (B68) is seeking a dedicated TA to provide 1:1 and small group support to children with ASD, ADHD, and other SEN needs. For the right candidate, there is potential for this to be made permanent.
The Role
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support children in accessing the curriculum, using tailored interventions to help them thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to children with SEN
* Use structured learning approaches to help children engage with lessons
* Assist with communication and behaviour strategies tailored to individual needs
* Implement EHCP strategies to support development and learning
* Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
Who We're Looking For
* Experience working with SEN children (ASD, ADHD, and other additional needs)
* A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2/3 or equivalent) is desirable
* Experience working in a school setting
* A patient, proactive, and compassionate approach to supporting children
