Overview:
As the Support Services Manager at Gallagher Bassett, you will play a crucial role in managing, maintaining, and controlling an assigned client base to ensure client retention. You will be responsible for representing Gallagher Bassett with customers, supporting the sales team with new business and renewals, and working alongside operational Managers and claims teams to deliver specific service level agreements. Additionally, you will oversee and complete key performance indicator packs.
How you'll make an impact:
1. Build effective relationships with key customers to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
2. Resolve customer queries and issues with the support of the Head of Claims.
3. Liaise with and support the operation in the set up/administration of new accounts and the renewal process.
4. Relieve operations and the intake team of customer support issues.
5. Compile and manage service plans for all major clients.
6. Represent the company at events, sales presentations, conferences, etc.
7. Support all departments and branches in respect of client issues and be the public face of Gallagher Bassett in such matters.
8. Support the claims and intake team with client audits and reviews.
9. Participate in management committees if required.
10. Liaise with all departments and individuals throughout Gallagher Bassett as necessary.
11. Be involved as appropriate in business projects.
12. Complete key performance indicator packs as required (Weekly/Monthly/Ad-Hoc).
About you:
1. High level knowledge of how Third Party Administrators operate, associated with good insurance skills.
2. Extremely strong relationship management skills and ability to deal with customers and individuals at a senior level.
3. Detailed knowledge of Gallagher Bassett procedures, including in-depth knowledge of operating systems.
4. Ability to prioritize and organize workloads effectively.
5. Ability to work under pressure and without supervision.
6. Ability to liaise with colleagues and senior management.
7. Ability to sustain relationships with both internal and external customers.
8. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
9. Essential IT Skills - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
10. Preferred IT Skills – Powerpoint and in-house systems.
