About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Interim European Marketing Director to lead our B2C marketing, media, and sales programs across Busy Bees Nurseries UK. This role carries full P&L accountability and is critical in driving new enquiries, increasing centre occupancy, and achieving revenue, EBITDA, and KPI targets.
As a key leader, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimise performance, enhance customer engagement, and maintain our market leadership.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic marketing plans with clear targets, milestones, and success metrics to meet revenue, EBITDA, and KPI goals.
* Lead high-performing digital marketing initiatives, including website optimisation, customer experience enhancement, and conversion rate improvement.
* Deliver impactful advertising, SEO, and media campaigns to position Busy Bees as the leading brand in the sector.
* Oversee PR and social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, audience growth, and industry leadership.
* Manage the UK Central Enrolment Team (CET) sales function to drive high enquiry-to-enrolment conversion rates.
* Own and execute sales promotions, annual pricing reviews, and yield-up initiatives across all European markets.
* Drive brand awareness, reputation, and health metrics across multiple regions.
* Identify and develop growth opportunities, new products, and services to enhance market position.
* Lead, develop, and inspire the marketing and sales teams to achieve outstanding results.
* Utilise data-driven insights to monitor performance, assess competitor activity, and refine marketing strategies.
* Ensure an ROI-focused approach to budget management, optimising spend for maximum impact.
* Provide strong leadership within the Sales & Marketing leadership team and contribute to the department's strategic direction.
* Deputise for the CMO when required.
Key Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience leading commercial marketing teams, with a proven track record of driving customer growth, revenue, and sales in a multi-site organisation.
* A strong B2C sales and commercial mindset, with sharp analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills. You will know exactly how we are performing and thrive on developing data-led strategies to drive success.
* Passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience from first contact through to onboarding and beyond.
* Able to balance big-picture thinking with a hands-on approach, getting into the detail when needed to drive results.
* Ability to challenge the status quo, disrupt, and drive meaningful change.
* Strong ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels, both internally and externally.
* Thrives in fast-paced environments, capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines.
* Proven ability to develop and lead high-performing teams, ensuring focus, prioritisation, and effective delegation.
