In the role of a Fitness Instructor, you will serve as an Ambassador for the Wellness Spa, offering expert exercise therapy and guaranteeing that the fitness zones and programs are effectively promoted and managed, consistently surpassing the expectations of our members. You’ll help us make health happen by: Conducts 9 classes a weeks in the Spa including specialist classes & 1-2-1 for the care floor residents: Assisting members in setting and achieving their fitness goals, offering advice and encouragement to each member during their visit Ensuring you’re aware of every member’s health status prior to each appointment, ensuring records are updates as necessary Ensuring all Wellness Spa users receive sufficient instruction to ensure safe exercise Supporting membership retention through actively encouraging member participation and promoting a helpful and fun filled atmosphere to encourage repeat visits Informing the Wellness Spa Manager of any relevant issues at all times Developing and promoting organised events such as fitness challenges and group activities Supporting the Spa Manager to increase visits and revenue, promoting other services in the spa as required Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role: Previous experience and qualifications in instructing classes is essential as this role requires teaching multiple classes on shift. Previous experience in working in spas or the fitness industry along with pool responder qualification is desirable.
