Shoalter Automation (UK) Ltd. is a leading innovator in automation solutions, and our store brand, In:Five, is at the forefront of technological advancement. We're seeking a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer to join our team and help us create intuitive and engaging digital experiences that delight our users.
As our UI/UX Designer, you'll be the champion for user-centred design, ensuring our digital products are both beautiful and functional. You'll play a crucial role in designing the user interface for our mobile apps, digital platforms and marketing presence. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create a seamless and intuitive user journey across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct user research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points, using methods such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
* Develop user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
* Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for mobile apps and web platforms, adhering to brand guidelines.
* Translate complex information and processes into intuitive and user-friendly designs.
* Collaborate with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
* Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, design trends, and emerging technologies to continuously improve our user experience.
* Plan and conduct usability testing to gather user feedback and iterate on designs.
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of our design system and style guides.
* Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
* Fluent in written & spoken Cantonese (Essential)
* Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
* At least 2 years of experience in a UI/UX design role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design process and user-centred approach.
* A strong portfolio showcasing your design and UX skills, including examples of user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. (Please provide a link to your online portfolio with your application.)
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Solid understanding of interaction design principles and best practices.
* Experience designing for accessibility (WCAG) is a plus.
* Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
