Role Summary
Working within a busy transport office, dealing with inbound and outbound calls. General clerical support.
Monitoring, maintaining and complying with Health & Safety to minimise risks. Ensure compliance to warehouse and transport standard operating procedures. Ensuring full compliance with company and statutory regulations including tacho analysis and driver hours.
Completion of driver pre-briefs and de-briefs. Ensure all daily reports are completed at the end of the shift.

£13.22
Shift start times available
9pm-5am Sunday to Thursday

Competencies, skills & experience:
1. Ability to communicate effectively through a variety of mediums (written, verbal, interpersonal, telephone) with a range of people on a range of matters
2. Contribute to the monitoring and maintenance of systems, vehicles and equipment
3. Methodical with an attention to detail and an ability to prioritise workload
4. Ability to work on own initiative within broad parameters
5. Proactive with an ability to work under pressure and to react and respond to change
6. Flexible in your approach
7. Resilient and able to thrive in a demanding and fast changing environment
8. Proven track record of working within a transport operation, including a good geographical knowledge of the United Kingdom - desirable
9. Customer orientated with supply chain experience an advantage
10. Good standard of education
11. Good Knowledge of Transport Legal responsibilities
12. PC literate
