We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Apprentice to join our team at William Davis Homes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in IT and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. Responsibilities: Provide first and second line support to end-users Troubleshoot hardware issues Manage and maintain printers and other peripheral devices Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of servers and switches Document and track issues and resolutions using our ticketing system Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth operation of all IT systems Required skills: Basic understanding of IT principles and a keen interest in technology Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes Entry requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
