The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to really make a difference to the lives of our clients. You will be working closely with our partners to provide housing support to vulnerable homeless individuals and families in temporary accommodation, the community, and through our drop-in service for those seeking accommodation. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, experience in working with vulnerable people, and a good knowledge of housing issues.
The post-holder will provide housing-related support to homelessness applicants in temporary accommodation to assist them with matters to ensure that they are 'tenancy ready' to move on. Time-limited support for when they have moved is also part of the role. The successful candidate will provide a high standard of customer care to households homeless and at risk of homelessness, with the overall view to support to find realistic and sustainable solutions.
