EnvironmentalPlanning Associate Director(EIA)
Due to the nature of ourprojects we are looking for strong expertise in environmentalimpact assessment with knowledge and capability around all stagesof the EIA process. This includes EIA Management and Coordinationscreening scoping and the preparation of Environmental Statements.Due to working on nationally significant infrastructure projects(including large scale solar projects) the ideal candidate willhave experience of post submission/determination within thedevelopment consent order and TCPA (Town & Country Planning)processes all surrounding the United Kingdom Planning system andlegislation.
The ideal candidate willhave:
We are lookingfor:
* A relevant degree or masters inenvironment science or equivalent
* Recentexperience in consultancy in a similar role Associate / AssociateDirector.
* Experience of energy infrastructureand EIA planning experience
* Comprehensiveknowledge of the current UK planningsystem
* Experience in post submission anddetermination within the DCO process
* Excellentcommunication skills and influencingabilities
* Strong client management includingthe ability to present at senior levels and across a range ofstakeholders.
* Expert negotiation and commercialskills coupled with strong commercialknowledge.
* Excellent project management skillscoupled with timeliness and accuracy
* Strongreport writing skills and ability to review colleagues workproviding constructive feedback
* A strongawareness of local politics and the interface between planning andpolitics.
* Exemplary knowledge and expertise ofplanning practice legislation across England and Wales.
* A natural ability to explain and discussplanning issues for variedaudience.
