Our client, a Building Surveying practice, specialising in historical surveys and repairs, are seeking a Building Pathologist to join them, based from their Manchester office. The Building Pathologist will gain exposure to breadth of unique projects across the UK, working on a range of historical surveys, focusing on listed buildings, old industrial works, churches, cathedrals etc It is envisioned the successful candidate with have proven knowledge of design and procurement within the UK construction industry and have a keen interest in heritage projects. Produce detailed reports with research, recommendations, photos, sketches, and annotated CAD plans. Provide prompt, professional advice on building defects, material conditions, and performance. Attend meetings with clients, design teams, and consultants. Follow established procedures and help develop new systems to uphold quality standards. Engage in personal training and development with management guidance. Maintain strict confidentiality in all work and communications.
