Starting Salary: GBP28,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Hybrid working)
Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays

POST Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a cutting-edge online company looking to add a Junior Account Manager to their growing team in central Ilkley. This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their sales and account management skills while driving customer success and revenue growth.
The Junior Account Manager is responsible for managing and expanding annual recurring revenue for mid-tier customers. This involves building strong relationships, identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and transitioning non-renewable customers to a subscription model. The role also includes handling inbound sales enquiries and working closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Account Manager, you will:
1. Manage and grow customer accounts by acting as the primary contact for a portfolio of mid-tier customers, developing strong relationships, and identifying opportunities to increase annual spend.
2. Drive revenue growth by securing renewals, upselling additional services, and developing tailored proposals.
3. Support customer retention by engaging with at-risk customers, understanding challenges, and transitioning them to a subscription model.
4. Handle inbound sales opportunities by responding to enquiries, qualifying leads, and guiding potential customers through the sales process.
5. Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure a seamless customer experience.
6. Monitor account performance & reporting by tracking customer engagement, usage trends, and purchase history, providing insights to inform sales strategy.
Experience & Skills Required
1. Some experience in sales or account management.
2. Motivated to hit targets and eager to learn.
3. Ideally, some experience with CRM systems.
4. Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
5. Customer-focused with a proactive approach.
6. Interest in developing negotiation skills.
7. Ability to identify opportunities and recommend solutions.
8. Organised and capable of managing multiple accounts.
9. Confident and collaborative communicator, able to engage with key stakeholders.
10. Self-motivated, results-driven, and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
