Your future duties and responsibilities
The Tech Bar Engineers/Consultant are responsible for monitoring and responding to incident and problem tickets, effectively being the front line of support for requests.
This role will include picking up incidents and problems and involve the following duties:
1. Walk ins - Incidents and requests - 1st line fixes / 2nd line support
2. Arranging appointments for Tech bar visits / desktop team visits.
3. Work closely with desktop team
4. Hardware allocations to users such as new equipment and peripherals
5. Point for users to drop off kit and collect kit.
6. Microsoft Office / Teams support
7. VPN troubleshooting
8. Windows 7 / 10 support
9. Assist with Service Desk Tickets
10. Hardware hand overs / new starters (Initial device set up Laptop/Mobile)
11. Process leaver returns
12. Process/fill out asset handover forms (incl. starter/leaver/transfer)
13. Act as a point of contact for client questions
14. MacAfee one time recovery
15. Bitlocker one time recovery
16. Laptop Loan administration
17. Mobile device allocation / setup and MDM admin
18. Tech bar stock room monitoring / audit of spares within
19. Assisting Desktop Support Engineers where necessary.
