Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Construction Associate Director to work within our Real Estate Division, with a focus on supporting our Industrial, Science and Technology teams in London. Working within our award winning team will give you the opportunity to work across some of Turner & Townsend’s key clients. These clients include a high performing property developers, several blue-chip real estate businesses and household names. You will get the opportunity to meet with clients to discuss their projects and delivery thereof and advise them on realistic timeframes.
Objective of the role:
To lead on Project Management commissions in developing plans and programmes to deliver our service and projects, in accordance with defined scopes of duties and T&T systems, mission and values;
1. Provide pre-construction support to Clients and develop overall project delivery strategies. Focus on build strategy, schedule, procurement strategy, design quality and supply chain engagement.
2. Working on commissions alongside wider project and cost management teams as well as standalone construction advisory services.
3. Deliver commissions to achieve safe and efficient outcomes that meet agreed profit and client satisfaction objectives.
4. Responsible for leading project team, consultants & contractors, working closely with Clients to deliver the project brief.
5. To develop and maintain relationships with clients, peers and others who are influential in providing future business.
Qualifications
6. Experience in managing the delivery of all stages of construction projects, from early design/planning through to handover/occupation.
7. Strong communicator required with ability to manage all disciplines including H&S, quality, planning & productivity, design management & co-ordination, contract management & administration, commercial management, and project governance.
8. Large scale, complex project delivery experience preferable
