Johnson Controls are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to lead the strategic management of key national accounts within the HVAC industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with national clients, driving sales growth, and ensuring that the company's products and services meet client expectations. This role requires a deep understanding of the HVAC market, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to manage large-scale, complex accounts across multiple regions. Key Responsibilities: Account Management : Serve as a point of contact for assigned national accounts, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and addressing client needs proactively. Business Development : Identify and pursue opportunities for growth within existing accounts, including upselling and cross-selling the company's HVAC solutions and service offerings Strategic Planning : Develop and execute tailored account strategies to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and enhance long-term client relationships. Sales Forecasting & Reporting : Track account performance, forecast sales, and provide regular reports on account activities, opportunities, and challenges to senior management. Client Presentations : Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to key decision-makers within national accounts, demonstrating the value of the company's HVAC products and services. Contract Negotiation : Lead the negotiation of pricing, terms, and service agreements to secure contracts and renewals. Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to ensure client requirements are met efficiently. Market Analysis : Monitor HVAC industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide strategic insights and recommendations to the sales and product teams. Customer Service : Ensure exceptional post-sale support and act as a liaison between clients and the company for troubleshooting and support needs. What we are looking for : Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field Proven experience in sales or account management within the HVAC industry, preferably at a national or multi-regional level. Proven track record of managing large accounts and achieving or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of HVAC products, systems, and services. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong negotiation skills with experience managing complex contracts and pricing structures. Ability to analy s e market data, account performance, and customer insights to drive business decisions. Willingness to travel domestically, as for client meetings and site visits.
