We have a number of exciting research opportunities in the Quantum Engineering Technology Labs ( QET Labs ) at the University of Bristol. As a member of QET Labs, you will conduct research at the interface of quantum technologies, photonics, and experimental science. You will be part of a dynamic team and have the opportunity to interact with all members of QET Labs and the wider Bristol Quantum Information Institute. QET Labs has a mission to take quantum science discoveries out of the lab and engineer them into technologies for the benefit of society. This includes novel routes to quantum computing hardware, quantum communications, enhanced sensing & imaging and new platforms to investigate fundamental quantum physics. The Research Centre consists of over 100 academics, researchers, staff and students and sits within both the School of Physics and the School of Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical Engineering. Multiple Research Associate positions are available of different durations. The duration of the post to be offered will be discussed following a successful interview.
