About the Role
Base Location: Thatcham
Salary: £37,075 - £43,063
All tools and PPE required for the role are provided.

Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Building and assembling unit substations (11KV) ranging from 500 to 1500 KVa to specific build requirements from our customers.
2. Carry out inspections and refurbishment/maintenance on substation equipment from our low voltage and high Voltage network. This includes electrical switchgear and transformers of all sizes.
3. Support the business in policy and procedural advice.
4. The role will also include receiving, unloading, inspecting and putting away supplier deliveries. This will involve using an overhead gantry crane and 8 tonne forklift truck, full training provided.
5. You will also be required to load and offload transformers at our third-party storage facilities as and when required.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
1. City & Guilds - Electrical Powering - 2339 (commenced) or equivalent qualification or gained equivalent experience.
2. Trade tested – deemed competent in fitting craft role by training department.
3. Health and Safety awareness and training.
4. Full driving license - willingness to travel.
