Commercial Manager / Operations Manager required to join a global, market leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Commercial Manager / Operations Manager shall be responsible for delivering commercial / operational strength across the board for flow control related products such as valves, actuators, regulators, filters, hydraulics, pneumatics and related mechanical engineering products.
The Commercial Manager / Operations Manager should have a proven background in implementing operational strategy and continuous improvement to improve efficiency, quality and productivity. Any knowledge of the Defence industry would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities
* Deliver commercial / operational strength across the board for flow control related products such as valves, actuators, regulators, filters, hydraulics, pneumatics and related mechanical engineering products.
* Review, interpret, and negotiate sales and service contracts for all products and services within industries such as defence, hydrogen, industrial gas and similar industrial engineering markets.
* Oversee daily operations, implementing strategic processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and turnaround times.
* Align sales strategies with company goals and objectives in collaboration with the UK Managing Director.
* Liaise with various engineering departments.
* Must be commutable to the office daily near Slough.
Minimum Requirements
* Experience as an Operations Manager / Sales Manager / Commercial Manager / Engineering Manager / Sales Operations Manager / Operations Supervisor / General Manager or similar within an engineering environment, ideally within the defence market or oil & gas market.
* Proven background implementing operational strategy to improve efficiency, quality and productivity.
* Strong leadership abilities, with a demonstrated capability to inspire and drive a team.
* Ideally come from a mechanical engineering background with preference to those from a manufacturing environment. Any existing knowledge of the Defence industry would be beneficial.
* Must be commutable to the office near Slough or willing to relocate.
