The Anaesthesia Training Programme Director for Study Leave for the North West (Manchester) Rotation will support the Head of School/Associate Head of School in the Strategic Development of the School of Anaesthesia.
The post holder will lead on the development of the School’s Study Leave strategy and contribute to supporting the Head of School around assuring the quality of courses, which are available, and administering the Study Leave budget for Stages 1, 2 and 3.
The post holder will be a member of the School Specialty Training Committee.
This is a 3 year secondment with possibility to extend to a maximum of three years, subject to mutual agreement
• Work in collaboration with Head of School of Anaesthesia to administer the Study Leave budgets for all Stages of training.
• To work with interested trainers in the development of local courses.
• To ensure that all trainees receive the best value for money from their study leave budget.
