What you will be doing
As an Account Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of Silktide’s revenue-driving strategy, managing renewals and identifying upsell opportunities. Your role is essential to customer retention and account expansion, ensuring long-term success for both Silktide and our customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Renewals: Take ownership of the renewal process, standardizing strategies to optimize success, identify at-risk accounts, and ensure a smooth and timely experience for customers.
* Upsell & expansion: Analyze customer usage patterns, milestones, and key decision points to identify opportunities for account growth. Work with the Customer Success Manager to align upsell strategies with customer goals.
* Account strategy: Establish checkpoints to assess account health, collaborate with CSMs, and plan upsell or cross-sell opportunities.
* Contract management: Oversee the logistics of upsells and renewals, ensuring seamless execution and accurate documentation.
Where you will be working
We’re currently looking for a Birmingham-based resident for this hybrid-based role.
You will be working in our coworking office at Colmore Row, Birmingham 3 days per week.
You should join us if
* You are a resident of the greater Birmingham, UK region
* You thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment with a focus on revenue growth and retention
* You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
* You excel at navigating corporate structures to grow the use of products or services across new departments with a wide range of stakeholders
* You have at least 1+ years of Sales Development experience within a SaaS company
* You have a passion for technology
* You should be approachable and offer to help where needed
* You are comfortable making cold calls and writing quality email cadences
* You have a valid passport (there is potential for travel for onsite customer meetings and work retreats!)
