Reporting to the Workday Services Reporting Lead, this role is vital to ensuring that WPP’s Workday Financials and PSA reports are supported and enhanced as required by our business partners while remaining a source of reliable data and insight to support business decisions. This is an exciting and varied role within the Workday Services Reporting Team which provides a world-class level of Workday reporting support and enhancement. What you'll be doing: BAU Support and Incident Management: Manage and resolve BAU tickets related to Workday reporting, including incidents, service requests, and change requests. Ensure timely and accurate resolution of reporting issues to minimize business disruption. Re port Design and Development: Develop and maintain a wide range of Workday reports, including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports, to meet business needs. Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into Workday reports that provide actionable insights. Customize Workday standard reports as needed to suit specific organizational needs. Discovery Boards and Dashboards: Design and manage Discovery Boards and Dashboards within Workday, ensuring that key metrics and KPIs are easily accessible and visually appealing. Collaborate with stakeholders to determine the most effective way to present data in dashboards, ensuring clarity and relevance. Data Analysis and Validation: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all Workday reports by conducting thorough data analysis and validation. Regularly review and audit reports to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements. Prism Data Pipelines (Bonus): Utilize Workday Prism to integrate and analyse data from multiple sources, providing a more comprehensive view of organizational data. Build and maintain Prism pipelines to ensure seamless data flow and timely reporting. Collaboration and Support: Work closely with Workday Financials and Projects teams to understand their reporting needs and deliver solutions that meet those needs. Provide training and support to end-users on how to access and interpret Workday reports. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues related to Workday reports. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest Workday reporting features and functionality, continuously improving your skills and the quality of reports delivered. Proactively suggest enhancements to existing reports and reporting processes to better serve the organization. What you'll need: 7 years of experience with Workday Financials and PSA Proficiency in Finance related processes Report Writer: Proficient in building and maintaining Advanced, Composite and Matrix Reports in Workday, particularly for financial applications Strong working knowledge of Workday Reports, Dashboards and Discovery Boards. Knowledge of how to assist in the review, testing, and implementation of software updates and enhancements. Excellent data analysis skills, Excel, and PowerPoint presentation skills Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization Ability to interact in a consultative way with stakeholders to identify opportunities, triage issues, and develop solutions Creative problem solver and strategic thinker - able to look for opportunities in existing systems and procedures with consideration of underlying factors and develop elegant solutions to address business needs Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple requests at once, while delivering accurate and timely results.
