Work Schedule: 3 days in a week in Manchester
Position: Sr. Python Team Lead, Manchester
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in IT industry, 6+ years in Python, 2-4 years of team lead experience
Technical Skills: Strong in GitHub, version control – repository
Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate and run scrum meetings, ensuring alignment across the team.
2. Review, manage, and accept pull requests (PRs) for our company’s library code.
3. Provide mentorship and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of growth and collaboration.
4. Oversee system design and architecture for AI applications and deployment pipelines.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
6. Act as a bridge between Python and full-stack teams, ensuring consistency and integration across projects.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Expert proficiency in Python, with a strong understanding of modern frameworks, design patterns, and best practices.
2. Demonstrable experience leading large teams in an agile development environment.
3. Deep knowledge of system design and architecture, particularly for AI-driven applications.
4. Proven ability to work as a team player and mentor junior team members.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Active GitHub profile showcasing open-source contributions or significant past projects.
2. Previous experience in the startup ecosystem, particularly leading development teams in dynamic environments.
