Job Title: Security Systems Tech Support Engineer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Security Systems Tech Support Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will work across multiple disciplines, including Fire, Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems, providing technical support to our field engineers and valued customers. This role is crucial to ensuring the reliability and performance of our security systems, delivering high-quality service and troubleshooting technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support and guidance for Fire, Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems to field engineers and customers.
2. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues remotely or in person, ensuring minimal downtime.
3. Assist field engineers during installation, commissioning, and maintenance of security systems.
4. Offer support for software configuration, system integrations, and network setups related to security systems.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security system technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
6. Log and track all support cases accurately, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
7. Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers for advanced troubleshooting and system updates.
8. Conduct training sessions for field engineers and customers on the operation and maintenance of security systems.
9. Support the technical team in developing and updating system documentation and user guides.
10. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and quality of technical support services.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Solid engineering background with experience in Fire, Intruder, CCTV, and Access Control systems.
2. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
4. Experience with system integration and networking is highly desirable.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, manuals, and system documentation.
6. Relevant technical qualifications in electronic security systems would be advantageous.
