Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Manager. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be predominantly involved in all compliance and food safety aspects of site-wide operations, ensuring that all aspects of food safety are maintained at the high levels expected both internally and by our customers and reporting key performance throughout the technical function. The role also includes the training and guidance of all relevant QA staff regarding food safety and compliance, management of held stock, and managing various auditing functions and troubleshooting across all manufacturing areas.
Main duties include:
1. To ensure the QMS systems are controlled, live documents and the relevant copy holders are kept up to date.
2. Documentary control systems are maintained.
3. Calibration schedules.
4. Assist with group internal audits site-wide.
The role also includes assisting the Technical Manager in ensuring the following:
1. Maintain Grade A EFSIS accreditation status and all other technical standards (i.e. Charter Schemes etc.) as deemed necessary by the company and its customers.
2. Internal and external site audits/visits which meet and exceed the parameters as required by customers, the company, and legal requirements.
3. Products produced are safe, legal and in line with expected quality standards.
4. Critical control points throughout the site are routinely controlled, monitored, audited, and challenged.
5. Reduction in minor and major non-conformances across the site.
6. Compliance with customer complaint levels.
7. Continued improvement in GMP standards across the site. 0% Red Scores.
8. Continual improvement in site hygiene standards.
9. Ensure that product quality standards agreed with customers are upheld.
10. Provision of a Quality Assurance culture through the site.

Hours of work: 08.00 – 17.00 Monday to Friday with 1-hour unpaid lunch.
