Job summary We are looking for someone who is dynamic, enthusiastic and person centred to join our team in the assessment and treatment hospital for people with learning disabilities who may exhibit behaviours that challenge or have mental health issues. You will need to be resilient and prepared to think about the positives rather than focusing on challenges. Main duties of the job To treat all patients, carers and staff with dignity and respect On a daily basis assist qualified staff in the provision of care as detailed in the individual care plans, undertake tasks that facilitate the smooth running of the ward as directed by qualified staff and liaise with other departments to ensure the ward environment is safe and welcoming e.g Hotel Services. Tasks can include; assisting with the giving of medication and medical dressings; holding the pagers for first response; preparing for admissions; escort and driving duties.
