Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our friendly and vibrant team at Kirkholt Medical Practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting with clinical procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of our practice.
You will be working with a team of GPs, a Nursing team and an excellent admin/reception team that keep the show on the road. There will be professional development opportunities, including cross-practice meetings with other Practice Nurses and opportunities for further training. This position requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities
1. Deliver comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
2. Assist in the management of chronic diseases and promote health education.
3. Conduct routine health checks and screenings, documenting findings accurately.
4. Administer vaccinations and medications as prescribed by physicians.
5. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
6. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality at all times.
7. Provide support and guidance to patients regarding their health concerns.
8. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
Requirements
1. Valid nursing qualification and registration with the NMC.
2. Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably within a practice environment.
3. Change-management skills and ability to support patients to change their lifestyle.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
5. A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
6. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
7. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping.

Pay: £38,000.00-£41,000.00 per year
