We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator – Committee and Executive Support to provide maternity leave cover and join our busy, friendly School Management and Research Office (SMRO) team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our school, contributing directly to its high-quality research and teaching objectives. What will you be doing? Providing complex diary management and support for the Head of School, including drafting responses. Servicing and managing School and departmental committee meetings. Supporting and coordinating school activities, such as the School Calendar, directory of leadership and operational roles, academic promotions, performance reviews, visiting fellows, Athena Swan, Honorary Professors. Analysing data and producing reports for Senior Managers. Drafting school communications on behalf of the Head of School and Operations Manager and updating our internal SharePoint and Teams sites. Overseeing and managing the School’s internal support funds for research and teaching. You will: Possess excellent organisational, customer service, and communication skills. Successfully prioritise workload to meet varying needs and deadlines. Complete tasks with high accuracy. Be a good team player, as well as being able to work independently and show initiative. Thrive in busy environments, multitask, and adapt quickly to changes. Proactively improve processes. Demonstrate experience with various IT systems and adapt quickly to new ones. Have a flexible and proactive approach to resolving problems and answering queries quickly and effectively, whilst remaining calm under pressure. Have relevant experience of finance systems and working within budgets. Be an enthusiastic team player with excellent customer service skills.
